Accurate and efficient attendance management is essential in academic and professional environments for monitoring participation, ensuring accountability, and minimizing manual errors. Traditional methods such as roll calls or paper-based records are timeconsuming, prone to inaccuracies, and lack real-time accessibility. This study proposes a QR code-based attendance system as a cost-effective and reliable solution to streamline the process. The system allows each participant to scan a unique QR code using a mobile device, automatically recording their presence in a centralized database. By integrating QR technology with database management, the system improves accuracy, reduces the scope for proxy attendance, and enhances overall efficiency. The proposed model not only saves time but also offers scalability, real-time reporting, and easy data retrieval, making it a practical solution for educational institutions and organizations.
