Abstract

Promotional activities are a vital tool for retailers to attract customers, enhance brand perception, and drive sales. This study, BrandEngage, investigates the influence of retail promotional strategies on consumer behavior, focusing on purchase decisions, brand loyalty, and perceived value. Using a combination of surveys and observational data collected from retail shoppers, the research examines how different types of promotions— such as discounts, buy-one-get-one offers, loyalty programs, and in-store advertising— affect consumer engagement and buying patterns. The findings highlight that welldesigned promotional activities significantly impact both short-term sales and long-term brand loyalty. The study provides actionable insights for marketers and retailers, emphasizing that understanding consumer responses to promotions can optimize marketing strategies, strengthen customer relationships, and increase profitability.
