A Study on Fixed Assets Management Practices of Reliance Industries Limited

Fixed assets management is an important aspect of financial management that focuses on the efficient acquisition, utilization, maintenance, and control of long-term assets within an organization. This study examines the fixed assets management practices of Reliance Industries Limited with the objective of analyzing the company’s efficiency in managing its fixed assets and evaluating their impact on operational performance and profitability. The research emphasizes the importance of fixed assets such as land, buildings, machinery, plant, equipment, and infrastructure in supporting business operations and long-term growth. The study is based on secondary data collected from annual reports, financial statements, journals, and company publications. Financial tools and ratio analysis such as fixed assets turnover ratio, return on assets, and depreciation analysis were used to evaluate the effectiveness of asset utilization and financial performance. The findings indicate that Reliance Industries Limited has maintained efficient fixed assets management practices through proper investment planning, technological advancement, maintenance strategies, and effective utilization of resources. The study concludes that efficient management of fixed assets contributes significantly to operational efficiency, productivity, profitability, and long-term sustainability of the organization.
