The rapid growth of digital technology and smartphone usage has significantly transformed the payment system across the world. Mobile payment applications such as Google Pay, PhonePe, Paytm, and Amazon Pay have become increasingly popular among youths due to their convenience, speed, and accessibility. This study aims to analyze the impact of mobile payment systems with special reference to youths. The research focuses on understanding the level of awareness, usage patterns, satisfaction, benefits, and challenges associated with mobile payment applications among young consumers. The study is based on primary and secondary data collected through questionnaires, journals, articles, and online sources. A descriptive research design has been adopted to examine the behavior and perception of youths toward mobile payment systems. The findings reveal that most youths prefer mobile payments over traditional cash transactions because of ease of use, time-saving features, cashback offers, and secure transaction facilities. The study also highlights certain issues such as network problems, cyber security concerns, and lack of technical knowledge among some users. The research concludes that mobile payment systems have positively influenced the lifestyle and spending behavior of youths by promoting digital transactions and financial convenience. The study suggests that increasing digital literacy, strengthening security measures, and improving technological infrastructure can further enhance the adoption and effectiveness of mobile payment systems among young users.
