This research paper focuses mainly on the scarcity of organs for transplantation underscores the urgent need for innovative solutions to enhance the matching and allocation process. Blockchain technology, characterized by decentralization, security, and transparency, offers a promising avenue for developing a more efficient and reliable platform for organ donation and transplantation as well. This paper examines the current state of organ donation systems, investigates the potential advantages of integrating blockchain technology, and scrutinizes existing research on blockchain-based platforms in this domain.
