Abstract

As cloud computing continues to become the backbone of modern data storage and processing, ensuring secure and controlled access to sensitive information is of paramount importance. This study presents Secure Access+, a framework for secure and expressive data access control in cloud storage systems. The framework leverages attribute-based encryption (ABE) and fine-grained access policies to allow data owners to define precise permissions for users based on their attributes, roles, or contextual requirements. By enabling dynamic, flexible, and verifiable access control, SecureAccess+ mitigates unauthorized access, data breaches, and insider threats while maintaining data usability. Experimental evaluation demonstrates that the proposed framework achieves robust security, efficient access management, and scalability, making it suitable for enterprise and large-scale cloud environments. The study highlights the effectiveness of combining cryptographic techniques with expressive access policies to balance security, flexibility, and performance in cloud storage systems
