Abstract

The increasing demand for reliable and sustainable energy solutions has highlighted the limitations of conventional uninterruptible power supply (UPS) systems that rely solely on grid electricity or batteries. This study presents RenewableGuard, a hybrid UPS system integrating solar and wind energy to provide continuous, eco-friendly power backup. The system employs a combination of photovoltaic panels, wind turbines, energy storage units, and a smart power management controller to ensure seamless switching between renewable sources and battery backup. Experimental evaluations demonstrate that RenewableGuard efficiently maintains power supply during outages, reduces dependency on fossil fuels, and minimizes operational costs. The hybrid system provides enhanced reliability, scalability, and energy efficiency, making it suitable for residential, commercial, and industrial applications. This research emphasizes the potential of renewable energy-based UPS systems to promote sustainable energy usage while ensuring uninterrupted power
