Cloud computing offers scalable and flexible data storage and processing solutions, but it also introduces significant security and privacy challenges, particularly when sensitive data is shared across multiple users and platforms. This study presents DataShield, an attribute-based data sharing framework designed to enhance security and privacy in cloud environments. By leveraging Attribute-Based Encryption (ABE) and finegrained access control mechanisms, DataShield ensures that only authorized users with matching attributes can access specific data, minimizing unauthorized disclosure. The framework supports dynamic user management, scalable access policies, and secure data outsourcing while maintaining computational efficiency. Experimental evaluation demonstrates that DataShield provides robust security, reduces risk of data breaches, and preserves privacy without compromising performance. The research highlights the effectiveness of attribute-centric approaches in securing cloud data sharing and fostering trust in cloud computing systems.
