Abstract

This study explores the concept of SustainProfit, which highlights the integration of green banking practices as a strategic driver for enhancing the financial performance and sustainability of Indian banks. With growing environmental concerns, regulatory pressures, and stakeholder expectations, Indian banks are increasingly adopting eco-friendly financial products, digital banking innovations, and sustainable lending policies. This research investigates how green banking not only supports environmental responsibility but also strengthens profitability, operational efficiency, and long-term competitiveness in the financial sector. By examining case studies, policy frameworks, and performance metrics, the study emphasizes that green banking serves as both a catalyst for sustainability and a viable strategy for improving profitability, thereby contributing to a resilient and socially responsible banking ecosystem in India
