Abstract

Maintaining high-quality power supply is essential for the reliable operation of modern electrical systems, particularly in industries sensitive to voltage fluctuations and disturbances. This study explores the application of Dynamic Voltage Restorers (DVRs) as an effective solution for enhancing power quality by compensating for voltage sags, swells, and harmonics in real time. The DVR operates by injecting controlled voltage into the system to stabilize and restore the desired waveform, ensuring uninterrupted and clean power delivery. Simulation and experimental results demonstrate significant improvements in voltage regulation, reduction of total harmonic distortion (THD), and overall system reliability. The findings highlight that DVRs not only safeguard sensitive loads but also contribute to efficient and resilient power system operation, offering a practical and scalable approach for modern smart grids and industrial electrical networks.
