Abstract

Advertising plays a crucial role in influencing consumer buying behavior by creating awareness, providing information, and shaping consumer perceptions about products and services. In today's highly competitive market environment, businesses use various advertising media such as television, newspapers, radio, social media, and digital platforms to attract potential customers and influence their purchasing decisions. Effective advertising helps consumers recognize product features, compare alternatives, and develop preferences for specific brands. The study focuses on analyzing the impact of advertising on consumer buying behavior and understanding how different advertising strategies affect consumer attitudes, preferences, and purchase intentions. It examines the role of advertising in building brand awareness, enhancing customer trust, and encouraging repeat purchases. The study also explores factors such as advertising appeal, message content, celebrity endorsements, and digital marketing techniques that influence consumer decision-making. The findings indicate that advertising significantly affects consumer buying behavior by increasing product knowledge, creating brand loyalty, and motivating purchase decisions. Consumers are more likely to purchase products that are advertised effectively and align with their needs and expectations. The study concludes that advertising remains an essential marketing tool for businesses seeking to attract customers, improve sales performance, and maintain a competitive advantage in the marketplace.
