Abstract

Concrete is the most widely used construction material due to its versatility and strength, yet it faces limitations such as low tensile strength, permeability, and durability issues. Recent advancements in nanotechnology have introduced nano materials as effective additives to enhance concrete performance. This study focuses on the performance assessment of concrete incorporating nano materials such as nano silica, nano titanium dioxide, and carbon nanotubes.The addition of nano materials improves the microstructure of concrete by filling nano-level voids and accelerating the hydration process. Experimental investigations are carried out to evaluate properties such as compressive strength, tensile strength, and durability. The results demonstrate that nano-enhanced concrete exhibits superior mechanical properties and improved resistance to environmental factors compared to conventional concrete. This research highlights the potential of nano materials in developing highperformance and sustainable construction solutions.
