VOICE-DRIVEN SMART HOME APPLIANCE FOR WATER DISPENSING USING RASPBERRY PI
Abstract
The proliferation of smart home automation has rendered the integration of voice-controlled devices more pertinent for enhancing user comfort, cleanliness, and accessibility. This project introduces a voice-activated smart hot and cold water dispenser using Raspberry Pi, engineered for hands-free functionality via speech recognition. The system employs a microphone module, temperaturecontrolled water valves, and a Raspberry Pi device designed to recognise voice orders for distributing hot or cold water. This strategy not only improves user engagement but also fosters a more sanitary and effective means of water distribution, particularly in residential, corporate, and medical settings. The suggested system illustrates the capability of embedded voice technology to convert conventional appliances into intelligent, responsive systems
