Abstract

Homeopathic case taking is a core clinical methodology upon which accurate remedy selection and therapeutic outcomes depend. Rooted in Hahnemannian philosophy and later enriched by Kent, Boenninghausen, and contemporary thinkers, the method emphasizes individualized symptom exploration, holistic assessment, patient–physician interaction, and miasmatic understanding. This paper reviews classical foundations, theoretical constructs, procedural steps, psychodynamic elements, and modern developments in homeopathic case taking. The study integrates classical sources, contemporary evidence, and emerging clinical approaches. Limitations, challenges, and recommendations for standardization are addressed. Tables and structured formats are included for clarity.
