Abstract

Cloud computing has become a primary platform for data storage and management, enabling users to outsource sensitive information. However, ensuring secure and efficient data retrieval from encrypted cloud storage remains a major challenge. This paper presents a symmetric-key based framework for verified keyword search over dynamic encrypted cloud data. The proposed method allows data owners and authorized users to perform keyword queries securely, while ensuring correctness and integrity of search results. By integrating lightweight cryptographic techniques with dynamic data handling, the system supports operations such as insertion, deletion, and modification of encrypted files without compromising efficiency. Experimental evaluation demonstrates that the symmetric-key approach achieves reduced computational overhead, faster query response, and strong data confidentiality compared to traditional asymmetric-key solutions, making it suitable for practical deployment in real-world cloud environments
